Our mission

We can change the face
of stock photography.

1 in 5 people in the world has a disability, yet it's hard to find images to represent them. However, disability is not always visible. Disability Is Beautiful provides an alternative library that celebrates the beauty and diversity in disability, and fights the stigma and negative perceptions that often come with it.

Our core values

We believe

We are more alike than different

Disability is part of the human experience, shared across every culture and community.

Everyone deserves representation

Authentic imagery creates belonging. When people see themselves reflected, it changes everything.

You are wonderfully, beautifully made

Every body and every mind reflects a unique and irreplaceable kind of beauty.

See and celebrate differences

Diversity makes us stronger. Celebrating difference — not hiding it — is the path to true inclusion.
